Bank of Commerce Start-up Marketing Strategy
Bank of Commerce, a start-up bank aimed at Charlotte, NC independently owned businesses, needed to sell a minimum of 1.4 million shares of stock at $11 per share.
My Creative Team kicked off the campaign with a face-to-face meeting of key local business and civic leaders to let them know of the opportunity, and to gather their contact information. An aggressive media relations program also garnered significant editorial coverage about the bank. We set up an informational website complete with an opt-in email form so that we could sign up and correspond with possible investors. More than 600 prospects signed up. Regular email updates about the bank and the stock sale helped the bank complete its stock offering in less than seven months.
Ty Boyd Executive Learning Systems E-mail Marketing and Collateral Material
My Creative Team designed a relationship management program to keep past students informed, motivated and eager to make referrals. The heart of the program is the Zipline, a monthly enewsletter that provides solid continuing education for past students. The initial list had about 1,700 email addresses, almost all past students. To entice others onto the list, My Creative Team used a Forward –To-A-Friend feature and book giveaway promotions. Additionally, the team developed a series of articles and placed them in other widely read enewsletters. The list has grown to 2,500 and the Zipline continues to be Ty Boyd Executive Learning System’s primary communication tool. Additionally, My Creative Team has designed the cover for Ty Boyd's latest book, Make It Happen - 52 Weeks with Ty Boyd.
LNR Property Corporation Web Design, Development & SEO
LNR Property Corporation, a worldwide diversified real estate and finance company, needed to sell more than 300 acres of land in Charlotte, NC’s University Research Park. My Creative Team determined that a branded website was the best way to market these prime industrial sites.
My Creative Team designed www.AccessURP.com, a highly interactive website that focuses on the land’s access to highways, skilled workers, transportation, infrastructure and quality of life. An aggressive promotion plan using a combination of search engine optimization, pay-per-click advertising, media relations and direct marketing was developed to build site traffic.
Results: Website traffic jumped 375 percent, and Internet audience reach increased 125 percent. Search engine optimization moved AccessURP.com from no listing at all to number one on Yahoo and MSN for the highly targeted term “commercial real estate university research park” and number five for “commercial real estate charlotte nc”.
MolliCoolz Brand Site
When MolliCoolz wanted to create a consumer site that communicated the brand's exciting explosive flavor, they chose My Creative Team. The result, an intense Flash site that fuels excitement for the brand and fosters consumer interaction on many levels. Click on the photo below to view the site.
Red Moon Marketing Promotional Site
When Red Moon Marketing needed to upgrade its site, they turned to Waldeck Communications for help. The result: a high end flash experience with fully editable xml-driven photos and content. Focus Four MarComm Campaign
Entrepreneur coaching firm Focus Four needed an effective way to reach its target audience: business owners. The problem is that entrepreneurs work all the time and it is hard to reach them with traditional media. Research indicated that online was the road to entrepreneurs. So, My Creative Team designed a highly functional, cutting-edge website that hosts podcasts, a bookstore and an Entrepreneur’s Library. Then, the Team developed a graphic stand-alone email and banner ads to be delivered via Entrepreneur Magazine, and a template for a monthly email program for opt-in subscribers. This program has boosted the website’s reach more than 60 percent since its relaunch.
USNWC PR/Media Relations Program
The US National Whitewater Center needed to maximize its budget during the construction phase since there were no revenues. So, My Creative Team handled the initial media relations launch of the world’s largest artificial whitewater river. We placed stories in Popular Science, Men’s Journal, Outside Magazine and Outside Traveler, National Geographic Adventure, CNBC, NBC Universal, Paddler and USAIR Magazine, to name a few.
Jacobsen Corporate Video
Jacobsen, a leading manufacturer of high-end greens and turf mowers, needed a high end corporate video aimed at the golf course market. They turned to My Creative Team to make it happen. The result: a visually compelling, pointed video with high quality, custom animation effects.

Irwin Industrial Tools Product Launch CD-ROMS
The Challenge: design and build-out a complicated promotional website for the Irwin Tools Ultimate Tradesman Challenge in under a month. My Creative Team created the portal-style promotional website for Irwin Tools that serves up video from recent competitions, keeps the standings up-to-date and alerts visitors to upcoming events in their areas where they can enter the Challenge. It also provides news, the rules, an area that highlights prizes and photos from the most recent events.
National Gypsum Company Corporate Presentations
