Just read an article on PR myths from the pharmaceutical industry perspective. The article contends that PR often is an afterthought, not an upfront consideration when corporate marketing decisions are being made. Amen. It’s too true that marketers don’t understand or don’t know how to integrate their PR efforts into a marketing plan. Some good food for thought here:
