Knol – Wiki Smackdown

Google has announced its new service called Knol, aimed squarely at Wikipedia, say some pundits. You can read about it at the Official Google Blog.

Looks to me like it’s more about the money – that is, ad revenue – than a swipe at Wikipedia. Here’s what others are saying about it:
