ENewsletters

I know there are deliverability problems with email and enewsletters, but I’m sold on them. I’m in the seventh year of publication of my newsletter, Think. It has helped my business immeasurably. In fact, I can trace virtually all of my clients back to the newsletter in some way. We do email marketing and newsletters for a number of clients and they still are effective. They are great customer retention tools.

I love blogs and RSS feeds, too. I believe you should use all the tools that make sense for your audience.

If you’re interested in email marketing, I recommend the nTarget application. Also, here is the subscribe form for Think, if you are interested.

I’m glad to see somebody blogging about email marketing…although the concept goes all the way back to the 1990′s, it’s still a form of “new media” that often gets left out because it’s not quite in the “Web 2.0″ umbrella (or is it…email technology is vastly increasing). My first e-newsletter I began when I was 13 years old. It worked, even though it obviously wasn’t for business purposes!

I’m now helping other companies create e-newsletters for their companies, as sharing their knowledge will vastly increase the amount of business they bring in.

Thanks for the post…short but sweet!
