THINKing, as you might expect, celebrates creativity at the slightest provocation. Today, April 21, 2008, is National Creativity Day so we are mandated to shout out a big woo-hoo! I have an assignment for you on National Creativity Day. I’ve told you about Mike Reative, aka Mikey, the living logo and creative muse of My Creative Team.
Above is Mikey, aka Mike Reative. He is the living logo and creative muse of My Creative Team, and was born to a right-brained dad and a left-brained mom, one-dimensional people really. Dad was “creative” and mom was “smart” and that was pretty much it – a mixed couple.
Above is Mikey, the creative muse and living logo of My Creative Team, the company Brant Waldeck and I started a little more than a year ago. His creativity is legendary. He guides us in all of our work. He gets around, so you may have seen him. Recently he was in Arizona on a video shoot, and he slogged through a snowstorm in Kansas City January 29 on another video shoot. DC (digital colleague) Jason Falls has suggested we bring Mikey to Louisville and let him tour the facilities of his client, Maker’s Mark.
From videos and blogs to speeches and articles, it’s all about content today. Marketers need to look at ways to develop, distribute and market their content. So, to help you out I’ve put together this reading list:
I’ve told you about Mikey, or more properly, Mike Reative, our living logo. Mikey posed for our business card, has visited client sites and does a lot of things to help build the My Creative Team brand.
A great way to bring a brand to life is through mascots. They can be used in marketing and PR efforts.
My Creative Team has living logo and top creative, Mikey, a.k.a. Mike Reative. As you’ll see in the photo below, Mikey took the entire team on a trip to the US National Whitewater Center. He also has been seen Christmas shopping and visiting client locations. You’ll be seeing more of Mikey in 2008. Keep a sharp eye out. Or, even send us your ideas of where you think Mikey should appear.
