Writing The Social Media News Release

However, you can’t use the tired, old school news release formula if you plan to interest people in social networks. CopyBlogger has a good post on the subject that says to use,
a sure-fire headline structure, a strong opening that uses an anecdote that paints a relatable picture, and content that utilizes all the laws of persuasive blogging.

I love this post, Two questions:
1. Is there a list of online publishers will keep the links in my press release intact? Forbes.com runs the release without the links.
2. Do keywords make a difference in how many sites pick up the press release - any insights on that for a marketing client?

Maura, off the top of my head I do not know of any lists of online publishers that keep links active. I will see what I can find. Keywords make a difference, particularly if you are using one of the online distribution services like PRWeb.
