harry hoover - lessons from the blogosphere

I was asked to prepare a presentation, Lessons From The Blogosphere, for the Charlotte Chapter of IABC. I handled the external side of blogging, while Catherine Canniff from Bank of America talked about internal blogging. I had five lessons that I discussed, so I thought I’d do a five-part series to outline those lessons. Here are the Five Lessons:

  1. Blogs Are Here To Stay
  2. Strategy First
  3. Content Is King
  4. Stay Focused
  5. Blogging Is Worthwhile

Stay tuned for the first lesson.

Looking forward to reading this. I agree with all five and as someone who works with each of these every day of my life? Can’t wait to learn from you. I learn something new every time I come here.

Thanks, Lisa. That means a lot coming from you. I hope you will wade into the discussion.

I attended the session and found it worthwhile indeed! Wondering if you will be posting the presentation for download? I thought you mentioned posting it to your blog, and I don’t see it on IABC Charlotte’s site. I’d like to share it with my team. Thanks!

Hi, Carolyn. Glad you enjoyed the session. The IABC folks said they would post it to their site – so I didn’t upload it. Should be at ciabc.com shortly. Thanks.
